Ashley is an expert in her own grief, just like you’re an expert in yours. She’s been a Certified Life Coach for years…but learned astronomically more about life from the recent death of her dad.
When you’re grieving, it’s hard to see through the darkness. We reach out as far as we can to try to find something to hold on to, but it’s difficult when we see others taking action or we’re asked why we’re not over it yet. We often feel stuck and find it impossible to move forward.
As a Grief Coach, Ashley meets her clients exactly where they are in their grief process. We work together to create pathways to move forward that honors their loss and each person’s own unique grief process. We can grow through our grief by letting ourselves sink into those not-so-awesome feelings. Such dark feelings are naturally something we try to avoid, and that’s why Ashley goes with her clients into the dark and helps them find peace. Just because we each grieve in our own way doesn’t mean we have to do it alone.
Outdoor enthusiast, writer, and deep thinker, Ashley is a hippie wannabe, lover of laughter, music, and mother of two incredibly joyful kiddos. She can be found hiking the beautiful Midwest bluffs, playing with her kids, or binge-watching her current favorite show on Netflix.
As a coach, what brings you joy?
When clients truly and unapologetically allow themselves to feel what’s happening in their aching hearts after experiencing a loss. Acknowledging and sharing the raw truth is both painful and beautiful – and it’s the moment healing can begin.
