Camino de Santiago Retreat

Camino de Santiago French Way

Pilgrimage and Retreat

June 1 to June 9, 2022

In 2004 I completed a 30-day walk-pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain that powered the biggest change of my entire life.

-Marco Silva

The Walk

For millennia, people have walked the “Way of St. James,” joining their fellow pilgrims in self-reflection and the communal march for spiritual enlightenment and peace of mind.  It’s an adventure that cultivates ‘human authenticity’.

You will meet people “doing the Camino” in order to find answers related to different life questions, or pursuing ownership of their own lives, some looking for the right path towards happiness, life purpose, some people in bereavement, tourists, athletes, etc. Independently of the starting goal, in the end, almost everyone feels that the Camino experience had a huge and positive influence on their lives. Over 6 days, our guided pilgrimage will take us just over 100km (60 miles)from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela, in northern Spain along the last leg of the French Way route.  The terrain on this route is considered easy to moderate with frequent opportunities to rest and refresh along the way.

Retreat and Reflect

Our group will settle in the beautiful Vila Sen Vento. This gorgeous space offers a swimming pool, tennis courts, and an outdoor patio. Each morning we will wake up to breakfast before we set out on our journey. Private or shared rooms upon request if available. Transportation is provided to and from each leg of the Camino. Each afternoon, we’ll return to Villa Sen Vento to spend time reflecting on the day, resting, group activities, and lots of laughter! We will also enjoy fresh, organic meals prepared by our private chef.

Pre Camino

This amazing and life-changing pilgrimage kicks off with 1 individual coaching session conducted online (via Zoom) and an 8-week group coaching program. Our goal is to ensure that you are physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared in order to enhance your experiences during the pilgrimage. We will talk through your goals, the steps you are planning to take, and also about how the Camino can help you find answers to your personal questions. You will also receive practical advice on clothing and equipment along with other helpful tips for the journey. You will also have full WhatsApp/Telegram, phone, and/or email support from us during this stage.

The Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage and Retreat Team

Outdoor enthusiast, writer, iPEC Certified Coach, and Certified Nutritionist, Ashley Colvin is a hippie wannabe, lover of nature, and mother of two incredibly joyful kiddos. Her gifts in connection and coaching started at a young age when she attended summer leadership camp. Ash’s work pivoted a few times, as she followed the things that lit her up. She worked at summer camp, college, and both in-person and online wellness companies. These places fueled her passion for deep connection and service to others, and helped shape her into the person she is today. Ash spent the last year traveling the country with her family in their RV, before moving into their new home in Holmen, Wisconsin. She can be found hiking the bluffs, creating something super fun, writing, or playing with her kids.

Me, Marco Silva, in my soul I feel I am a teacher (or a coach). I feel really happy and fulfilled when I
am sharing moments of knowledge, moments of beauty in nature, moments of connection with
others. I occasionally need loneliness to reflect, but I would suffer if I couldn’t share complicity,
laughter, and a hug with others. Someone said that “happiness is only real when shared” and I do
believe so. Everything I have studied and continue studying, since sports science, through TCM and
coaching, has a similar goal – facilitating you the tools to live at your highest potential. I am
passionate about the Camino de Santiago because it helped (and still does) to transform and
introduce transformation and commitment in my life, I know it will do the same for you.

Blanca Nuñez

Also a former Camino pilgrim herself, Blanca Nuñez is for me a beautiful discovery, the Universe
gifted her to us. She lives in Galicia in a beautiful place called A Coruña, so she is a local and very
close to the Camino magic. She is a certified and trained nurse who reduced her nursing working
hours to follow her dream, doing what she loves, her passion: to be a Chef. She followed a 4-year
cooking course with Montse Bradford and now she applies the principles of energetic cuisine
through nutritious and organic dishes. She mothers us with loving care and her dishes are simply
delicious.
